How we translated a small publishing site into a clear, credible brand and website — improving conversion rates, increasing site traffic, and attracting more aligned client inquiries.
From quiet circulation to national reach.
Credenda Press had meaningful work in circulation, but its reach was limited.
Sales had slowed, visibility was low, and the systems in place made growth feel manual and uncertain. While the books carried depth and purpose, the brand and website weren’t yet supporting distribution, discovery, or scale across Canada.
We built a foundation designed not only to present the work beautifully, but to support how it moves.
What we did:
- Developed a cohesive publishing brand and logo to unify their catalogue
- Designed a Shopify website structured for both individual and wholesale orders
- Created custom book covers aligned with the tone and substance of each title
- Implemented systems for inventory tracking, order drafts, and streamlined invoicing
The results:
The shift was immediate, both operationally and in visibility. Credenda Press is now experiencing:
- Orders coming in from across Canada, including new individual customers
- Wholesale orders from bookrooms, easily managed and fulfilled through Shopify
- A streamlined backend with clear inventory tracking and invoicing systems
- Increased sales, including renewed interest in previously slow-moving titles
- Website sessions up 148% with a 4.77% conversion rate
- $2,600 in first week sales, with strong momentum building
The website is no longer a placeholder.
It’s a working system for growth.
